Painting

Using a variety of techniques and media, students will refine and focus their approach to painting. Students are encouraged to work toward the development of a professional quality portfolio, with an emphasis on independent research and personal initiative. Professional issues, current trends, critical thinking, and both historical and modern approaches to painting will be investigated. Specific techniques and projects will be introduced throughout the course.
